10 a.m. Convocation begins
The virtual program will feature remarks by the Board Chair, Chancellor, Faculty Senate President, as well as student testimonials and inspiring videos.
We want to thank everyone for their commitment and dedication during this unprecedented time. In a matter of weeks, our team anticipated and responded to the changing circumstances of our community, our college, and our students. The power of collaboration can be seen in our stellar results in meeting the initial challenge of COVID-19 — completing the Spring semester with a high level of retention. There are many outcomes for which our institution should take great pride. The most important are those of our students, faculty and staff.
HCC has the immense opportunity and responsibility to rethink the way our college functions as our community transitions to a “new normal” that no one can even predict at this point. We look forward to our Fall Convocation, and hope you will join us for the follow-up interactive sessions as well.

10 a.m. Convocation begins
We look forward to welcoming our entire staff and faculty to this new semester at our Fall 2020 Convocation on August 21. Our event will be held in a virtual format for the first time in the institution’s almost 50-year history. While we can’t be together in person, the event theme, “We’re All Connected” is an important reminder that we are all in this together.
