Through the dedicated efforts of our members, the Partnership addresses Houston's unique challenges, and champions the growth and success of our region.

Since 1840, the Greater Houston Partnership has strived to make the region the best place to live, work and build a business. We serve over 1,100 member companies in the 12-county Houston region.

The organization is a 501(c)(6), not-for-profit, private, member-driven organization that serves the Greater Houston Area.

The GHBC is the “go-to” organization for business development and community outreach partnership opportunities in the Houston African-American community. The GHBC is dedicated to supporting African-American small businesses in the areas of education, certification and accessing contracting opportunities and capital.

We are Houston’s premier source for identifying quality and qualified African-American, multi-sectored small businesses to do business with. With a database of over 2,000 unique resources, the GHBC assists its partners and members in navigating Houston’s large, diverse population, industries and the many nuances, which are unique to our city.

The East End remains the commercial center of the city today. It’s also the hub of Houston’s transportation systems. The East End links the industrialized centers of the United States and Canada with the Port of Houston and Mexico.

Until recently, international trade, manufacturing and warehousing dominated the East End area’s economy. Today the East End is beginning to reap the rewards from new channels, such as the Metro rail. Upward trends in residential housing and retail business along rail corridors forecast the East End to continue its recent growth pattern. Additionally, over half a billion dollars is being invested in the Greater East End, bringing light rail through the heart of this community along with major street beautification, including pavers, trees, pedestrian lighting, street furniture and bike trails. Houston’s best-kept secret is no longer a secret.

The success of the Chamber is deeply rooted within the culture and connections of its region—more specifically, the people and relationships of the East End. In a five-mile radius the East End is home to over 234,000 people, and over 7,700 businesses with over 100,000 employees.

The Asian Chamber of Commerce fosters economic and business development through civic advocacy, networking, collaboration and connections in the Houston Asian American communities and promotes trade between Houston and Asian countries.

The Asian Chamber of Commerce has been supporting the business community in Houston for 30 years. We’re a diverse, multicultural group focused on increasing business with the Asian community locally and abroad for all Asian countries, as well as improving the overall economic prosperity of Houston. We host and support numerous activities around the city to encourage our members to develop lasting relationships.
